Description:
Formerly Forensic AIDS (FAP) provides integrated testing for HIV, hepatitis and sexually transmitted diseases and positive disclosures and linkages to care. For those who are HIV positive, HIP provides primary care, discharge planning and case management. HIP also offers weekly education and support groups to transgender inmates, provides training and kits to prevent drug overdose and condom distribution throughout the jails.
