Religious Services

Description:

Religious Services teams with volunteer clergy and community faith-based organizations from various denominations, from churches to synagogues to mosques and temples, throughout the Bay Area to provide spiritual guidance to incarcerated men and women. We provide services in a multitude of faiths, as well as one-on-one spiritual counseling, bible study and grief counseling sessions. Religious Services also presents various activities for the inmates, such as concerts, dinners, conferences, faith-based movie nights and holiday gifts. Religious Services also holds "Prayer at the Gate" an interfaith support system for family members visiting inmates at County Jail #5. Religious Services are available at County Jails #2, #4, and #5.
