The CityBuild Academy, administered by the Office of Economic and Workforce Development (OEWD), works in partnership with San Francisco City departments, construction trade unions and contractors, City College of San Francisco, and community-based organizations. CityBuild provides outreach, recruitment, training, and referral services to job seekers, employers, and contractors working in San Francisco’s construction industry. The CityBuild Academy consists of a structured 18-week pre-apprenticeship training program to prepare students for employment in a variety of skilled trades.
